Rumor: New Ace Combat Game To Be Called Ace Combat Infinity?

Last month we had reported that a new Ace Combat game might be in development. Today, Namco Bandai have launched a new teaser site for Project Aces and if a trademark filing is to be believed, the new entry in the long running franchise will be called Ace Combat Infinity. 

You can check out the teaser site over here. The site simply has the following written on it:

That day our sky fell, the heavens split to create new skies.

Such one liners are pretty common in the franchise so I am pretty sure that this a new Ace Combat game. Below is the trademark filing that clearly shows the name: Ace Combat Infinity.

Could this entry be a cross generation title or will it only see a release on current generation consoles?
