Dark Souls 2 (8)
Dark Souls 2 is the follow-up to the original die-hard hack and slash dungeon crawler that put From Software on the map in the RPG genre. However, it has undergone some changes due to a new director duo being at the helm and this is reflected in a Reddit user MkfShard posting details about a demo for the game he played at this year’s SDCC.

He noted that each action feels more weighty this time around, so you’re going to be investing a lot into each action. Magic has been expanded upon, along with the enemy’s artificial intelligence. It’s also been revealed that “invincibility frames” – wherein one could could take no damage during spaces in special animations – have been removed.

Interestingly, the targeting system has been changed as well. Check out the full post for more info on items, spells and sections in the game which include the Mirror Knight and Turtle Knight. Dark Souls 2 is currently slated to release in March 2014 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
