At the Autodesk Anaheim User Event 2013, Microsoft took the stage to hype up its upcoming Xbox One, as well as the games for it; a lot of time was actually spent on showcasing four games from the consoles’ lineup (Forza Motorsport 5, Project Spark, Quantum Break, and then finally Ryse: Son of Rome). The most amount of time that was spent was on Ryse: Son of Rome, as Microsoft got into the specifics of the tech behind the game, and explained the various technological advantages that the Xbox One console architecture provides developers with, and how Crytek were taking advantage of that tech to create a stunning looking game like Ryse.

It’s all a bit technical, honestly, and unless you’re interested in the specifics of programming or hardware design, you might not find it very interesting, but for those of you who are interested in viewing the full 22 minute long thing, you can do so here.

Xbox One launches later this year, alongside Ryse: Son of Rome and Forza Motorsport 5.
