Matt McKie, Director of Global Marketing FIFA has explained the differences between the current and next gen versions of the upcoming FIFA 14.

“I think the titles on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC are the most important in Latin America because initially there it’s strong, but of course the next generation of consoles will be here and in those consoles (PS4 and Xbox One), although the basis of the game is the same, what changes is the power, since the engine will use Ignite which will bring significant changes.

“One such change is that we can give players real human intelligence, to make decisions smarter and faster, making the game look more like what the real sport. In addition, actual movements gave the players to look around more athletic, the animations really mimic what happens in real life when playing. We are very proud of what we accomplished in this regard on XBOX 360 and PS3, but the next-generation consoles enables us to go one step further.

“Another novelty is that now the environment is more realistic, the secondary characters have more life stages are more real and commentators will live games, which will make them even more realistic, resulting in one feel more motivated while playing,” he said in an interview with GamEvo.

FIFA 14 releases on September 24th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC among other platforms with a next gen release launching along with Xbox One and PS4.
