New Link Between Worlds Trailer Has Musical Easter Egg

Well played, Nintendo.

Remember the trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, which first featured the now famous Ballad of the Goddess? Remember how, when someone played the trailer backwards, it turned out that the Ballad of the Goddess was actually Zelda’s Lullaby, one of the series’ signature tunes, played in back?

Nintendo seems to be on their usual shenanigans again, as this newest trailer for A Link Between Worlds will prove. The new trailer had an all new theme, that, when played backwards, turned out to be the iconic Hyrule Castle theme played in back. Seriously, check it out. It’s almost creepy.

Also, Nintendo needs to stop doing this.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is the sequel to 1992’s seminal The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It will be releasing exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on November 22. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for further coverage.
