Even though the free to play, Frostbite 3 powered Command & Conquer was effectively suspended and developer Victory Games shuttered, EA is reportedly looking for a new studio to restart development.

On its Support Page, EA has stated that in concerns to refunding money spent in the alpha, “For those of you who bought The C&C Ultimate Collection, your early access to the beta will be honored once production of this title resumes under a new studio. We would like to thank you for your time and interest in Command & Conquer, and we look forward to sharing the news with you when production resumes on this title in the future.”

Considering the amount of resources already expended on the project, it would be a waste to just cancel it. Will this next iteration of the free to play title be worth it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
