Earlier today on the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced that in a promotional effort, gamers will have access to five weeks of free games for their PlayStation smart phones. This is in an effort to further promote the PlayStation’s little talked about mobile platforming division.

Sony will, for the next five weeks, be giving away two free games every week, making a grand total of ten free mobile games for PlayStation smart phone owners. The games will be updated every Wednesday. The first two of the ten have been announced today. Let’s take a look.

First up we have Passing Time, a touch-controlled soccer game. The game focuses on passing skills and has players utilize abilities such as a fireball in tune with passes to scorch the opposing team and mess them up.

Next is Rymkapsei, which, despite it’s anxiety inducing name, is a meditation based relaxing strategy game. The game takes place in space and focuses on high amounts of thinking with low amounts of gamer input.
