LEGO Movie the Videogame

An all-new batch of screenshots were released for the upcoming video game adaptation of the upcoming LEGO movie. It’s a rather funny concept—the LEGO movie is largely in production due to the success of the LEGO video game series, and now that it’s soon to be released, there is a video game based on the movie, which is in turn somewhat based on the video games.

But circular logic and confusion aside, the LEGO movie videogame looks like it will be another classic fun entry in the LEGO gaming series based on these screenshots. From the looks of things the game (and the movie) will combine elements from a lot of previous entries in the LEGO game series, such as LEGO Batman along with entirely new content specific to the movie.

As of now we don’t know the full extent of familiar content that will be in the movie or in the game, nor do we know whether the game will feature characters and plotlines that are not in the film and vice versa. Stay tuned to Gamingbolt for updates on The LEGO Movie Videogame as they are released.
