People who play Battlefield 4 on the PC have the ability to rent servers for a fee that varies depending on duration and the provider of the servers. The console and PC versions of Battlefield 3 had the same feature at their disposal.
As a server administrator, one can decide which map to play on, configure your game rules like making it private or public, and choose whichever mode you want to play in. A server administrator also has the ability to moderate, ban, kick or mute other players in their servers.
So it’s good news for console owners when we tell you that the server rental feature is making its way to the console versions of the Battlefield 4. PlayStation and Xbox gamers, rejoice.
“Indeed, it is coming,” an EA rep said over at Battlelog. “I’m afraid we don’t have any information on this quite yet, but it is coming soon!”
More details will be revealed soon. Stay tuned.
