DriveClub New Gameplay Footage Reveals October 8th Release Date

Evolution Studios' PS4-exclusive racer re-emerges with a new game director.

Evolution Studios posted a new gameplay trailer for DriveClub, hinting at the various social interactions and challenges within the game and finally delivering a release date – it will be out on October 8th for PlayStation 4.

The game looks better than ever in the newest trailer and showcases the dynamic weather, lighting, environmental effects, various time settings and much more. You’ll be able to play alongside friends as part of “Clubs” and different changes will come into play mid-race. Completing these will earn you small tags to proudly display – we can definitely get behind these kinds of challenges.

Evolution Studios also announced that Paul Rustchynsky has taken over as Game Director. Rustchynsky has served as game director on Motorstorm RC as well, so the game now appears to be strongly on course. Evolution promises more updates in the coming weeks, including a blog update from Rustchynsky, so stay tuned for more details.
