Miscellaneous:
Location of configuration file: You can find the configuration file here: Documents\My Games\Murdered Soul Suspect\FateGame\Config.
Game crashes and freezes: First check whether your drivers are updated. Then check Steam Cache files integrity. If they are good then turn down Anti-Aliasing to FXAA.
Locking the frame rate to 30fps: Disable V-Sync and force it via AMD’s Catalyst Control Center and NVidia control panel.
Executable File Missing: Verify the integrity of your game cache via Steam.
Game is 8GB but shows 115 MB: 115 MB is the size of the update.
Error: Failed to launch game – Download the latest version of Visual c++ redist.
Murdered.exe stopped working: You need to go here Program files>steamapps>common>Murdered Soul Suspect>Binaries>Win 64 Then you need to right click the exe and select the graphics card.
