The Sims 4 Gameplay Trailer Debuts: Interact, Control and Kill Your Sims Like Never Before

Because death is the real life of the party.

How tough was it for EA to follow brief teases of the next Mass Effect? Apparently impossible as Maxis took the stage to show off The Sims 4 but thankfully, it wasn’t all bad news. The Sims 4 at least showed us the interactivity and detail that Sims will possess this time around, with full stories behind each of their actions. Check out the trailer above.

Unlike before, you won’t be viewing your Sims from isometric perspectives. You’ll go up close and personal with them, witnessing how they deal with life. Of course, the above trailer is fairly cartoonish in its depictions but a character can apparently laugh himself to death as well. We’re hoping for more grim stuff in that regard. You can also import your own Sims into experiences and see how they affect pre-existing ones.

The Sims 4 will be releasing on September 2nd for PC. Looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.
