Stig Asmussen was let go from SCE Santa Monica following the cancellation of the studio’s sci-fi project (which also led to several other employees being laid off) but it seems he landed with both feet. In an email sent to Polygon, Asmussen has revealed that he now works at Respawn Entertainment, developer of Titanfall.

Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella confirmed the same. It’s also been revealed that Asmussen is working as a game director though it isn’t for Titanfall. Could it be for the next game aka Titanfall 2, which is rumoured to be in early discussion to arrive for the PlayStation 4 along with Xbox One?

Regardless, Asmussen’s talents aren’t going to waste and there are still plenty of things for him to do in the industry. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and stay tuned for more.
