Titanfall Sequels Might Include Single-Player Content

Respawn says it's up to them to learn how to apply what's been learnt for the next game.

Titanfall

Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall has done very well since releasing in March for Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360. This is despite the lack of single-player content and the sheer number of obstacles the development team faced. The good news is, as Respawn plans for (supposedly) future sequels, there’s a good chance we could see a single player campaign in some form down the line.

This was indicated by COO Dusty Welch in conversation with Game Informer. “Would I rule [a single-player mode] out for the future? Certainly not. But I think that there’s a lot of reward in continuing to push the paradigm that Titanfall introduced, which is this always connected, real live visceral multiplayer universe.

“We learned a lot, and I think it’s up to us to think about how we apply the learning to make the next game even more expansive and more engaging than the first.”

Titanfall will currently be receiving a new game update later this month for Xbox One and PC which contains new game modes and Titan Burn Cards. Stay tuned for more information.
