Destiny (10)

Bungie’s Destiny will be launching alongside a smartphone companion app and according to a recent image of the same (copyright of IGN) posted on Reddit, some of the player vs. player modes have seemingly been leaked.

The modes showcased were Skirmish, Control, Lockdown, Team and Rumble. We know that the Control mode sees two teams trying to occupy three different points on the map. Team mode is essentially straightforward Team Deathmatch. The new modes are Skirmish, Lockdown and Rumble, the last mode seemingly being the name of Free for All (where it’s every player for themselves). That’s not confirmed though so there’s still plenty to learn about Destiny.

Destiny will be releasing on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. The beta will be held this month for PS3 and PS4, with Xbox One and Xbox 360 players receiving the beta near the end of July. Thoughts? Let us know below.
