The trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, Ubisoft’s previous gen version of the franchise for PS3 and Xbox 360 players, has apparently been leaked by Access the Animus. You can check it out above or take a look at various screengrabs from the same below.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue was rumoured to be the codenamed project Assassin’s Creed Comet wherein players would assume the role of a Templar. An online retailer indicated that the game would be set in New York with naval combat returning. The leaked trailer already confirms an Xbox 360 release and it will apparently be out on November 11th.

Of course, Ubisoft must have been saving this announcement for Gamescom 2014, which starts on August 13th and concludes on August 17th. There’s certainly no better time and the publisher already stated that it would reveal plans for this year’s current gen version soon.
