The latest UKIE game charts are in, courtesy of Gfk Chart-Track, and Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls debuted at first place. It outright beat Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us: Remastered which has been on top since its release on June 7th.
Interestingly enough, it also seems that EA’s strategy with game time for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare on PC had some effect – or it’s more likely due to the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game which recently released. Either way, EA is doing some things right.
Other notable listings include Tales of Xillia 2 that debuted at 10th place. Games like Battlefield 4 and Titanfall have fallen out of the top ten despite occupying some of the top slots since their respective releases. We’ll see how Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls stays on top especially with Destiny soon to release in two weeks so stay tuned for more information on the same.
