Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be, as the name suggests, the sequel to the cult hit horror action game on the Nintendo 3DS (later on ported to other systems). The original Resident Evil Revelations game was the best title in the series in a very long time, so the fact that we are getting another game in the same vein greatly excites me.

We have known about the existence of this game for quite a while now; what we have not had is any look, proper or otherwise, at this game (at least in an official capacity). That all changes now, as Capcom has released a batch of sixteen, yes sixteen, new screenshots for us to feast our eyes on.

The game looks deliciously good and creepy, although I question Capcom’s ability to sustain the proper atmosphere over the long run, now that this game is being built with console sensibilities in mind. We’ll see, I guess.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
