Viva la revolution.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, one that gives a bit more context to protagonist Arno and his part in the French Revolution. For that matter, if you’re wondering how he joined the Brotherhood of Assassins in the first place – and why – this trailer is your best bet. Did we mention Napoleon Bonaparte makes a cameo? Check it out for yourself.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will look to take the franchise in a new direction story-wise while staying true to the roots of the original game. Besides an improved parkour system and a more organic open world, players can now take on co-op missions with others, earning sweet loot in the process. These missions aren’t for just pure bloodshed and thievery – each one has its own historical context and adds to the experience.

Releasing on November 11th in North America and November 13th in Europe, Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be out on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
