Sid Shuman, the Senior Manager of Social Media over at the PlayStation Blog made a blog post today announcing the very first official PlayStation Experience. A “massive two-day community event dedicated to the people who bring PlayStation to life”, the event will be hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6th and 7th of this year.

Rocking up to the show will get you a seat at some “in-depth panels” and a chance to meet “the industry’s best developers”. You might also be able to grab some loot because I refuse to use the ‘S’ word.

Despite being “dedicated to the people who bring PlayStation to life”, this is still very much a business move and isn’t free. A single day pass will set you back $50 whereas a two day pass will skin you $90. Will you be attending? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
