Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel May Also Have A Loot Cave

Destiny, look what you've started.

Borderlands may have been the original shooting/RPG/loot based game hybrid, and Destiny may generally have been considered to be a poorer clone and shadow, but that doesn’t mean that the former cannot take some cues from the latter. And indeed, that is what it appears will be happening, as apparently, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will look at the one good thing Destiny did and also offer it itself.

We’re talking, obviously, about the Loot Cave, and although for Destiny, it’s more of a crutch given how terrible and mediocre its gameplay actually is, it can still hold a certain allure to those players who might not have a lot of investment in the game but still want to be good at it. It basically just involves defeating waves and hordes of enemies to generate some loot that you might want for yourself.

The ‘loot caves’ have been discovered via a series of exploits, that you can see in the videos above.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is out now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
