Sega have announced that an alpha test for the direct sequel to 2000’s Phantasy Star Online will launch this summer. The game was first announced for PC at least year’s Tokyo Game Show. Though it is most likely Japan only, you can be one of the lucky alpha testers by purchasing the first run of the upcoming Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity for PSP or by playing Phantasy Star Universe or Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst. Sega has stated that further details will be announced later.
