EA has announced their plans to release a brand new Need For Speed game, No Limits, as the next entry into the popular racing franchise. Need For Speed No Limits is, as you would expect, is all about fast driving and arcade fun. Executive Producer Robert Huebner says, “”We’ve built No Limits from the ground up to deliver the insanely-fast driving and incredible graphics that fans have come to expect from Need for Speed – all in the palm of your hand.”

Though pay attentnion to that last comment, “all in the palm of your hand”. That’s right racing fans, the next Need for Speed game is indeed, a mobile game. Set to be released in 2015 by Firemonkeys, Need For Speed No Limits is coming to iPhone, iPad and other Android Devices. Mr Huebner goes on to say, “The team at Firemonkeys has also been bringing Need for Speed to mobile gamers for years, and it’s an honor and a privilege to once again get behind the wheel of this incredible franchise and redefine street racing on mobile.”

What are your thoughts on the abandonment of PC’s and consoles in favour of mobile platforms?
