Assassin’s Creed Unity was a broken game that released with a series of bugs and glitches, and might have permanently destroyed any equity or cachet the series or brand may have had. We know this, this isn’t exactly news anymore. But like DICE and EA did last year, Ubisoft too are trying to salvage the mess they made with Unity. They’ve been working hard to deliver patches that will make the game perform as it is supposed to.
No platform needs these fixes more than the PC did, as Assassin’s Creed Unity released on it nigh playable, in spite of a series of driver updates and such specifically tailored around the game released by Nvidia et al right before its release.
Well, Ubisoft have just delivered the third patch for the game on PC- this patch targets a whole host of issues, and brings in, allegedly, over three hundred fixes. The fixes should take care of all issues save the most notorious one, the frame rate problems the game has been having- Ubisoft has promised that the frame rate will be fixed in a future installment.
Hopefully next time, it is fixed before the game actually launches.
