One of the many exciting world premier on Friday Night’s The Game Awards (probably the second most exciting one) was the reveal of the multiplayer mode in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Online. It looked pretty damn good and intense, and a significant step up from the clunky and generally poor Metal gear Online mode in Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PlayStation 3.

And of course, it was full of Kojima’s signature wackiness and hilarious antics too, as it featured plush animals to distract soldiers with, and selfies taken with vanquished enemies (no, seriously).

All of this, and more, you can check out in this new set of screenshots that all covers the reveal of the multiplayer mode, and you can tell us what you think of Metal Gear Online so far, and whether you even plan to play it. And of course stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
