Capcom Censors Angry Joe’s Opinions For Street Fighter 5

Angry Joe is not happy.

Capcom are pretty familiar with goofing up royally when it comes to handling their properties in the public light. Well you won’t be surprised to learn that they’ve done something stupid again, but you would be forgiven for thinking that they would have learned a lesson or two by now.

YouTube Personality, Angry Joe, who has made a career from shouting his opinion at people has come under fire from Capcom as they filed a copyright claim on his video about the game, Street Fighter V. In his recent video, he bashes Street Fighter V and calls the Developer and Publisher “dumb” amongst some other things.

Capcom have attempted to censor his work by putting a copyright claim on the video, thus making it difficult for Joe Vargas to continue his content production. The twist in all of this is that Capcom were the ones that sent him the request to cover the game.

After doing some personal research on the matter, making use of my own Capcom Press Credentials, I can verify that the content he used is indeed just sitting there ready for use by those with access and authorization. Which he clearly had after receiving an Email requesting he do so.

It’s another nail in the coffin of the old Capcom, but what do you think?
