If you are still wondering how Street Fighter V managed to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive than we suggest not to think about it much. Yes, it was silly of Microsoft to let Street Fighter slip from their grasp, yes it was genius for Sony to capitalise and seize exclusivity, but in the end it’s a business.
Having put that out of the way, we have over 6 minutes of Street Fighter V gameplay footage which demonstrates just how excellent the game really is. It looks impressive, it sounds great, the character control looks as solid as ever and Chun Li gets a noodle bowl stuck on her head.
After loosing the first match to chip damage via volleyed Hadoukens thrown by Ryu, Chun Li returns with a flurry of kicks to secure victory for her freshly noodled head, bringing the score to one – one when things come to a close. I’m actually rather excited for this, though I’ll be playing it on PC and probably getting sweeped by pro’s…
