Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile is still going strong and a brand new content update 1.3.0 is out.

This update introduces two new Challenge Leagues with Torment and Bloodlines. The former sees players being haunted by tormented criminals who will inhabit the nearby monsters and buff their powers. The benefit is better item drops but you’ll need to be careful since spirits can also buff rare and unique foes. Bloodlines is a hardcore league where different packs of monsters share a different set of powers and this can influence the remaining pack depending on certain conditions.

There will also be eight new challenges to complete that will grant players some neat gifts like a Totem Pole decoration for one’s hideout. Other additions include revamping the PvP system and introducing competitive events, a season of tournaments and overall rebalancing to the combat.

What are your thoughts on all the new additions? Let us know in the comments.
