Ushering in the new year for Destiny players is the return of Xur, Agent of the Nine and Exotic Gear vendor, to the Tower. You can find him in the ship hangar in the lower levels where the Future War Cult group usually resides. Xur’s biggest items for the week are Dragon’s Breath, an Exotic Rocket Launcher which creates solar grenade explosions when leveled up.

Other items include the Starfire Protocol, an Exotic Chest Piece for Warlocks which grants an extra Fusion Grenade for use. Keep in mind that the latter’s effect doesn’t stack with the default extra grenade ability that you can select for the Sunsinger class. Exotic Engrams are thankfully being sold this week for Gauntlets and Xur is also offering a range of upgrades.

These include upgrades for weapons like the Gjallarhorn (yes, again), The Last Word, Patience and Time, Universal Remote and more. You’ll need 7K to 8K Glimmer and an Exotic Shard to upgrade though. Check out the prices for each Exotic item here and let us know what you think of Xur’s selection in the comments.
