Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty has a very direct and simple, yet very sad game over screen. Granted that it doesn’t explain in detail how you failed, but it becomes very apparent that your commanding officer will miss you terrible. After the expected wail of “SNNAAKE!!!” you’re treated to a very straightforward, game over screen. Like I said, very simple, but sad, but also a classic.
