The Creative Assembly continues to innovate with Alien: Isolation’s gameplay. The third DLC for the first person survival horror game, dubbed “Safe Haven”, is out today and adds an intriguing new gameplay mode. Check out the trailer above to see how this all plays out.

The new mode is Salvage, which challenges you with completing ten different challenges without dying. You’ll be playing as the communications manager Hughes and have to complete different tasks through the new challenge map. After you complete the same, you’ll be placed on the leaderboards and can compare your performance with that of others.

Safe Haven releases for Alien: Isolation on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. It is included with the Season Pass and is the third of five DLC packs for the game. Will you be picking it up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the same.
