Fallout 4: This Ambitious, Cool Looking Mod Will Make Your Wait Easier

I love modders with all my heart, don't you?

Fallout: Lonestar is a total conversion mod that is taking Fallout New Vegas and changing it into an entirely different beast. The game is set 50 years prior to the events of Fallout New Vegas and will be taking you to Texas. The 50 years time gap is important, not just for the context of what happens in New Vegas, because it has far reaching possibilities for the likes of The Brotherhood of Steel and The Enclave who may well still be at each others throats.

The best thing about Total Conversion mods is their sheer scope, this isn’t a simple mod that rearranges the world and drops you in, oh no. Lonestar is going to feature brand new content and a slew of all new hand crafted assets for the game.

Speaking as a person that has modded Fallout 3 until my GPU was redlining trying to keep up, this is an exceptionally ambitious project that the team is working on and I can only hope that the project lead, Christopher Means, can see it through to completion.

Hopefully this awesome will all make our wait easier for Fallout 4.
