New Final Fantasy 15 Footage Looks Spectacular

So much JRPG hype.

Persona 5 was not the only eagerly anticipated JRPG that got new footage today; Square Enix’s decade in the making magnum opus, Final Fantasy XV, also got some new footage.

I say new, but it was actually just the same footage that we got at the Taipei Game Show; the difference this time being that the footage is not shot off screen, but is instead direct feed, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Seriously, while Persona 5 remains the JRPG (and indeed, the game) that I am looking forward to the most, Final Fantasy XV looks amazing too, and this new footage just reaffirms that.

It also confirms one more thing- that the special demo of the game, Project Duscae, will be available for purchasers of the first print of Final Fantasy Type 0 HD right off the bat- you won’t have to wait till later.

Final Fantasy XV is due out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more coverage.
