Kingdom Come Deliverance Delayed to Summer 2016

The game's increased scope means additional work will be needed.

Warhorse’s open world medieval action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance was slated to release in December 2015 for PC, Mac OS X and Linux (along with additional releases on the Xbox One and PS4) but has since been delayed to summer 2016.

According to the studio, the overall scope of the project has expanded which means more time will be necessary. In order to facilitate a level of quality that backers deserve, Warhorse opted to delay the release.

For backers who pledged $45 and above, there will be new features added to version 0.3 of the tech alpha. These include temporary VOs and a lock-picking mini-game. The alpha will be out in three months and Warhorse will also be bringing the game to E3 2015. Furthermore, there will be a beta later this year. Check out the latest dev diary above for more information.
