Star Wars Battlefront Reveal Trailer Finally Arrives

And we're suitably whelmed.

Posted By | On 17th, Apr. 2015

EA finally released the first trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront at the Star Wars Celebration festival after initially teasing it at the end of the trailer for Episode VII. The game engine footage looks appropriately snazzy and showcases Endor, along with some of the other locations we’ll visit like Hoth. Check it out above.

DICE has nailed the atmosphere for Star Wars down to a T, from the laser sound effects and explosions to the signature orchestral score. We’re kind of bummed that there won’t be any space battles but if this trailer represents what the final product will be capable of delivering, then we’re somewhat intrigued at this stage. Hopefully some actual gameplay footage will emerge at E3 2015.

Star Wars: Battlefront is out on November 17th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Head here and here for more information on the game, such as why there are no space battles.
