New Trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X Is All Sorts of Epic

A tale larger than before.

The follow up to 2011’s cult hit Wii exclusive JRPG, Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles, is almost here. Xenoblade Chronicles X launches in Japan shortly, and in the rest of the world later this year. Determined not to repeat the marketing faux passes that characterized their handling of the original game, Nintendo has been going all out with promoting X.

The latest in that line of marketing is this new trailer, which is, frankly, just epic. This new trailer sets up the narrative stage for the game, giving us some idea about what kind of tale we can expect from Monolith Soft’s latest odyssey. To those who have been worried that this new game might go light on the story compared to the original game, you don’t have to worry- if this trailer is anything to go by, we are looking at an epic and engrossing tale here.

Xenoblade Chronicles X launches exclusively on Wii U this month in Japan, and later worldwide. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
