Bungie will be bringing some new content to Destiny with the House of Wolves expansion and regardless of how you view the term “new”, there’s no denying the various appealing elements. A new preview video from the developer outlines everything you can expect by the time House of Wolves launches and features behind-the-scenes interviews with several dev team members.

House of Wolves will include the standard range of new story missions and competitive multiplayer maps. However, it will also include a new PvP event called Trials of Osiris wherein fireteams of three can face off in an elimination style gauntlet.

Then there’s the Prison of Elders, a new Horde mode-like PvE mode wherein Guardians face waves of increasingly difficult enemies with different modifiers. Players will also be able to bring their old Legendary gear to level 34 thanks to the new Ascend system.

Destiny’s House of Wolves is out on May 19th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 so stay tuned for more information.
