Super Mario Maker

Nintendo went into great detail regarding its upcoming Super Mario Maker, an upcoming design tool for the Wii U which allows players to create their own levels. The different styles of Mario games can also be meshed together so you can have various characters, enemies and much more in a single level.

Amiibos will also have their own uses, allowing Mario to take on the appearance of different characters like the Wii Fit Trainer. There will be various other characters based on Amiibos so Link and Marth could be playable in Super Mario Maker. There will also be a tutorial booklet to teach players how to make levels.

Super Mario Maker will be releasing on September 11th for the Wii U. What are your thoughts on game thus far? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information, including trailers from the various 3DS titles showcased at Nintendo’s Digital Event.
