The Last Guardian director reveals website for his new studio

A new guardian.

The Last Guardian

The Last Guardian director Fumito Ueda is now finally ending his relationship with Sony after nearly two decades- The Last Guardian will be the final game he ever releases for them. But he and his team are not done with video games yet, not by a long shot, as genDESIGN (that is the name of his new studio, in case it was not abundantly clear) has just received a new website, which, Ueda undoubtedly hopes, will help launch the developer into the public eye.

The website is pretty barebones right now – there is an image of what appears suspiciously similar to a skeleton of the guardian from The Last Guardian, some concept art from the game, some information about the studio (comprised of Fumito Ueda and a team of veteran developers who led the creation of ‘Ico’ and ‘Shadow of the Colossus’), and lastly, right at the bottom, it says ‘And More’- but it seems to do pretty well as a statement of intent. Which is what I am sure is what they were going for.

The Last Guardian launches exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2016. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
