Fans have long asked for a remake of Resident Evil 2, widely considered to be the best Resident Evil game made in the classic mould, in the same vein as the original Resident Evil remake on the Nintendo Gamecube. Now, Capcom seems to be asking users about just such a thing- an HD remake of Resident Evil 2, in the style of the Resident Evil remake.
Speaking on the official Resident Evil Facebook page, Capcom said, “Enthusiasm for a Resident Evil 2 Remake is something we’ve been hearing from you over the years, and has drawn some recent attention in the media.
“However, as the team owns the RE brand, we’re not certain how we feel about this approach, and would like to ask your honest and frank opinion about the “Resident Evil 2 Remake” and what the brand identity is supposed to be about?”
Basically- tell them exactly what you want. And what you want is a Resident Evil 2 remake. make sure to point that out!
