Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Considering that there is a fair bit of mystery surrounding just what happened and how it affects the people who are still around in Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, it’s probably a good thing that there is now a new video that shows off the game, headed to the PS4 on August 11. For those that haven’t already played it on the PC, the title will allow users to follow the lives of six main characters, as they unravel the mysteries and the fallout from an end of the world scenario.

This isn’t like Fallout 4, where you are fighting mutants, or even some kind of maniacal villain. This game is more like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter than it is Halo, and that’s the way the developers want it to be. Taking place in Shropshire, characters will walk around a massive and largely empty world, since it appears that almost every else has apparently gone off to the rapture. In the video, the devs talk about how the characters that are left behind and still around deal with everything that happens.

The characters also need to deal with how their relationships with each other are changing as the world comes to an end. As the tagline says, the story, “begins at the end of the world.” That story is told using fantastic graphics that are geared towards making you feel as though the places you are visiting could be places that really are in your everyday world. Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will hit PS4 on August 11, check out the video below to get ready for its launch.
