With the release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’s release less than a month away, it seems as if info is coming fast and furiously these days. One new piece of info that is sure to get fans of the series excited is that Konami is planning on showing off a brand new trailer on August 5. The brand new video promises to show at least some footage from the game that hasn’t been seen yet and will make its debut at Gamescom.

Even better news for those traveling to the game conference in Germany, is that there will be a playable demo of the “A Hero’s Way” mision on the show floor. The video is said to showcase a number of new characters, as well as put those that have been seen throughout the long running series in situations where they’ve never been found before. There will also be new features shown off in the trailer as well as a better look at what has been called a massive gameplay map.

It seems likely that this trailer is the one game director Hideo Kojima referenced a few days ago, when he unleashed a couple of new screenshots that appeared to be taken right off a video monitor. The trailer is set to go live at 8:00 PM local German time, which means about 3:00 PM EST. It will be viewable for the entire run of Gamescom and then will also be offered on the official Metal Gear Solid YouTube page once it launches. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain hits for the Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this September.
