Take a look at what never was.

Before there was The Last of Us, before there was Uncharted, there was Jak and Daxter. Naughty Dog did make quite a name for themselves on the PlayStation 2 with their fabled Jak and Daxter series, the platforming duo who became the face of Sony’s greatest console.

To many, it may seem like Naughty Dog have turned their backs on their glorious past, as they have shunned not just the beloved Crash Bandicoot, but also Jak and Daxter in recent times- however, this leaked footage and concept art, which you can see above, as well as in the gallery below, seems to indicate that at one point, they did try to follow up on Jak and Daxter with a fourth game, at the very least.

While the environments look gorgeous, I’m not sure I am a fan of the character design- I’m not sure how much I would have appreciated it, to be honest.

Personally, at this point, I guess I am just glad there is Uncharted 4 coming out next year.
