Bungie has announced that voice actor Nolan North, known for his role as Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, will be voicing the character of Ghost in Destiny going forward.
This is according to an interview with Game Informer where North stated that, “I was really excited to do this role. You want to give him as much personality as the world will allow, without making it unbelievable. There’s a fine line to walk there, and I think we found it.”
North will not only be voicing Ghost in The Taken King and the franchise going forward but he’s also re-recorded all of Dinklage’s lines. This means the entire game will see a makeover in terms of Ghost’s voice acting.
The question is, will North be able to bring personality to the game’s script? We’ll find out when The Taken King releases for Destiny on September 15th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.
