A return to form for wrestling games?

WWE 2K16

WWE 2K16 will be the biggest, most feature laden WWE game release in a good while, at least if the vision that 2K Sports outlined for the game in its newest press release comes to fruition- this year’s edition features a new submission system, brand new commentary, an updated creation suite, and more characters than ever before.

All of this, in addition to gameplay modes such as 2K Showcase, Universe, and MyCareer all making their official return to the games, alongside what 2K Sports promises will be a revamped online mode- essentially, it sounds like after a few years’ worth of false starts, WWE 2K16 might finally be the game that gives us a wrestling game befitting the glory days of wrestling games on the Nintendo 64.

WWE 2K16 will launch on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 27 in North America, and October 30 in the rest of the world.
