Fallout 4: Bethesda Confirms There Is No Level Cap

Keep playing.

Although I am sure many players had assumed that they would be able to continue playing even after the story was finished – after all, that has been true of all Bethesda games, so why would it change now? – the question of a level cap remained. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, for example, allowed players to keep on playing endlessly even after the main storyline was resolved, but players eventually hit a level cap.

That will not be the case with Fallout 4, as Bethesda confirmed on Facebook that the game will have no level cap, and that players will be able to keep on playing even after the storyline is done. “To our fans who’ve asked: Fallout 4 doesn’t end when the main story is over and there is no level cap. You can keep playing and leveling,” Bethesda said.

Personally, that sounds like the best possible news to me! Fallout 4 will be out this November on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
