Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight had a rather broken launch on PC in June, resulting in the PC version being removed from shelves as the developer, Nvidia and others worked to fix the issues. An interim patch was promised for current owners though and thankfully, an update has been provided on the same.

A spokesperson revealed on the Warner Bros. forums that, “We are happy to confirm that we are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks. We’ll be sure to report back in the next two weeks on how the testing is coming along.”

The patch will work on providing a number of fixes such as less frame rate hitches; improved performance across all GPUs; an option to toggle settings for a maximum FPS of 30, 60 and 90; “high” resolution texture values; adaptive V-sync for Nvidia cards; fixing low resolution texture issues; and much more. There will also be updates on Season Pass content for PC owners.
