FIFA 16 Career Mode Getting Major Changes

Finally, the Career Mode gets some much needed attention.

The Career Mode in FIFA games has suffered in recent years, due to EA Sports’ focus on FIFA Ultimate Team, a similar mode that nonetheless allows them more continuous revenue, due to the integration of some clever microtransactions. However, it seems as though this year, the Career Mode will finally be getting some long overdue love.

The changes aren’t back of the box bullet points, but they should nonetheless change how you play the mode- the video that you see below highlights all of them. It shows how the training sessions and summer tournaments will affect your career, and how you can use them to your own advantage to develop new young talent. The changes will be wide sweeping and encompassing, and should reflect on both, the Player level as well as the Manager level.

FIFA 16 will launch on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC, with versions for Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, PS2, iOS, and Android devices also being mad available. Stay tuned for more coverage on the game.
