Destiny

Have fun with the new Crucible modes and maps from Destiny’s The Taken King when update 2.0 finally lands – Bungie has announced that there won’t be any Weekly or Daily events when it’s out.

As revealed on its official forums, “When Destiny 2.0.0 update releases, there will be no Weekly or Daily events (Nightfall, Daily Heroic Story, Heroic Strike) available for the week of September 8 – September 14, 2015.”

This is interesting for several reasons since there was no weekly reset at the usual time when House of Wolves released in May. However, it still received Weekly and Nightfall Strikes when it went live later in the day. This time, it seems players will have to busy themselves with the Crucible as part of the free week of The Taken King PvP component that all players will be able to experience before the expansion is actually out.

Destiny’s The Taken King will be out on September 15th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3. Stay tuned for more information on update 2.0 when it launches tomorrow.
