Ubisoft introduced some new footage for Ubisoft Montreal’s For Honor, a medieval hack and slash title which emphasizes realistic combat and mixes factions like the Samurai, Vikings and knights together. Check it out below.

For Honor debuted at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo and focuses on competitive multiplayer between two teams of up to eight players with AI bots. Points are earned as kills are racked up and when a certain point limit is reached, players must face each other in dramatic duels.

These focus on positioning and trying to one-up your opponent – killing all opposing players ultimately ends the match. It sounds simple but when you mix in the brutally realistic combat, it’s well worth a look.

For Honor currently doesn’t have a release date and it’s in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Thoughts on the new trailer? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
